Limited Capacity filling up

The Open Government Guide; The OGP Explorer; The NAP Review Tool. What are they, and how can they support civil society to advocate for strong National Action Plans?

Civil society has a critical role to play in partnering with and challenging governments to deliver ambitious open government reforms. Over the past couple of years, OGP and partners have developed a number of tools and resources to support civil society and governments to produce strong action plans through an open and participatory process.

This workshop will explore three of those tools, and how they can be used to advocate for strong National Action Plans:
  • Open Government Guide - which outlines practical, measurable, specific and actionable steps that governments can, and are, taking on open government.
  • OGP Explorer - which provides easy access to the wealth of data that OGP has collected.
  • NAP Review Tool - which enables the objective and comparable analysis of National Action Plans from the perspective of civil society.
Come along to explore these tools, and develop ideas for new tools that could support civil society advocacy.
