Best ways of involving the Legislative branch in the ‘openness partnerships’

Organizations in charge: Sunlight Foundation / Fundar / Directorio Legislativo

Objective: to come up with a common vision about the work relationship between CSOs/PMOs and Parliaments, towards the launch of the Open Parliament Network.

Description:

  1. 3 to 4 simultaneous round tables where one or two experts lead the discussion on experiences of legislative openness in 30 minutes in order to come up with lessons and best practices to share to the whole group.

  2. Another 30 minutes to debate the next question: what should CSOs/PMOs should demand/ask to Parliaments in order to work together?

  3. 15 minutes for sharing the conclusions of both discussions.
